Cooperative Society Package
A
package designed for cooperative societies to implement thrift credit
and payment method as well as other operations of the society coupled
with backend relational database system that stores information and allows
for easy management of transactions.
ThriftSoft
(CTCS) Package works
as a client/server system i.e. it operates in a networked environment
and has components residing on both the server computer and workstation.
(The components on the server include a relational database management
system (RDBMS) Microsoft Access Application). As far as users are concerned, the client
component is the application, which has been installed on each workstation,
which works hand-in-hand with the server components. 
The
client part of the application runs in Windows environment. The ThriftSoft (CTCS) Package application has been
implemented in a modular design. Different modules handle Cooperative
Thrift, Credit and Financial Transaction functions, while another handles
Reports. Modules can be accessed
from the same screen. It implements security by using ID’s and Passwords.
